This is the first issue of this kit, manufactured between 1968 - 1972 with this type of artwork on the box.
Type 3 Series 2 vintage kit No. 253 still in the original box, in very good condition, some marks, shelf wear and tape marks. Kit appears to be complete. Decals have yellowed.
